Photography Friendly Day & Photo Challenge – Scenic Trolley Rides at The Shore Line Trolley Museum

Bring your camera to The Shore Line Trolley Museum on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 11 am to 3 pm for Photography Friendly Day & Photo Challenge. This special event invites photographers and visitors to capture historic electric trolley cars in action while enjoying scenic trolley rides and exploring the museum’s collection.

Museum admission includes unlimited trolley rides along the historic railway and access to the museum’s car barns and exhibits, where visitors can view antique trolley cars from cities including New Haven, New Orleans, Brooklyn, and Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Throughout the day, guests are welcome to photograph and record video around the museum grounds as vintage trolleys operate.

Participants can also enter the Photography Friendly Day Photo Challenge by sharing their favorite images on Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #shorelinetrolleymuseum. Following the event, museum staff will select a winning photo, with the photographer receiving a one-year museum membership. Selected entries may also be featured on the museum’s website, social media channels, and promotional materials.
