Outdoor Concert at the Museum: Impressions of Old Lyme with the Old Lyme Town Band

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Old Lyme Town Band with a special outdoor concert at the Florence Griswold Museum on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at 3:00 pm in Old Lyme. This free event will feature the world premiere of new music commissioned from composer Anthony Susi, inspired by three paintings from the museum’s collection: The Ledges by Childe Hassam, Peonies by Matilda Browne, and Kalmia by Willard Metcalf. Each composition reflects the natural beauty of Old Lyme’s meadows, marshes, and flora.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early to explore the Museum’s exhibitions and gardens. In celebration of Father’s Day, men receive discounted admission of $5.
