Open Mic at The Packing House (January) in Willington

Experience an intimate evening of live music at Open Mic at The Packing House on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Unlike traditional open mics, musicians are scheduled ahead of time, ensuring a unique and supportive atmosphere. Experienced performers are allotted extended stage time, while new or less experienced musicians will receive guidance on performing in front of a live audience.

Doors open at 6:30 pm, and performances begin at 7:00 pm. Admission is free for all guests and performers, with donations accepted. The event offers a quiet, respectful environment focused on celebrating artistic talent. Performers are encouraged to share original or cover music in this historic and intimate setting.

Musicians wishing to participate should call (860) 922-1214 to secure a spot on the schedule. PA/sound reinforcement and up to three microphones will be provided. Please note that full drum kits or amps require prior arrangements.

Audience members are welcome to bring their own food and drinks for an enjoyable evening of music. Open Mic at The Packing House is hosted by the Eastern Connecticut Center for History, Art, and Performance (EC-CHAP).
