Open Days Garden Tour in Weston

Garden enthusiasts can explore four private gardens in Weston during the Garden Conservancy’s Open Days program on Saturday, September 19, from 10 am to 4 pm. This one-day-only opportunity offers a closer look at the horticultural creativity, personality, and dedication behind a selection of Fairfield County gardens.

Frances Palmer’s Garden features a cutting garden, tennis court garden, 15 raised beds, four beehives, and more than 100 varieties of dahlias in an array of shapes and sizes. Nomadica is an evolving landscape focused on beauty, biodiversity, and experimentation, with cut flowers, unusual vegetables, fruits, gourds, perennial plantings, native plants, and a stream.

Prospect Gardens is a nine-acre historic arboretum with winding pathways, grass borders, flowering shrubs, berry houses, beehives, and a shaded woodland walk. TideBrook Garden, located in the Riverside Westport residential area, occupies 0.2 acres and features ornamental flowers and shrubs, an umbrella canopy, and distinctive artwork and earthwork berms and trenches shaped into banks and islands.

Tickets are $10 per person, or $5 for Garden Conservancy members. Children age 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration is required and must be completed online through the Garden Conservancy. Pets are not permitted.
