Old Lyme Midsummer Festival Concert with Nekita Waller

July 26, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Nekita Waller will be performing on July 27th from 7 pm to 9 pm on July 26th as part of the Old Lyme Midsummer Festival. The free concert is always a favorite and makes for a picnic-perfect summer evening.

From 5 to 7pm enjoy free admission to the current exhibition.

Nekita Waller will be bringing your favorite music spanning several decades from pop, Motown, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Tower to Power, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, Classic Rock, R&B, and originals.

From Nekita’s stage debut in front of Steve Harvey at the Apollo Theater at just age 13, to singing Gospel in church to as an adult sharing the stage with The O’Jays, B.B. King, and singing the National Anthem for the Celtics in the NBA, Nekita has had a blessed musical journey. This experience has exposed Nekita to a variety of musical styles. Nekita is the first non folk genre artist to be appointed State Troubadour. Those who support and enjoy her music are as diverse as the music Nekita performs. From young to old, of all backgrounds, Nekita moves, entertains, and connects with all who listen.

Nekita looks forward to coming to Florence Griswold Museum for the first time. She hopes you take your shoes off and dance a little with the grass under your feet.
