Niantic Bay Boardwalk 5K at McCook Park Beach

The Niantic Bay Boardwalk 5K will be held on clock Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 8:30 AM to 12 PM at McCook Park Beach.
Come run or walk down the Niantic Bay Boardwalk for a good cause! This year the proceeds of Niantic Main Street’s annual Niantic Bay Boardwalk 5K will benefit the The Miracle League of Southeastern CT!
5K Runners and walkers will enjoy a mostly flat course from Niantic’s McCook Point Park through the charming Village of Niantic, along Main Street and the Boardwalk, to a sparkling finish at Hole-in-the-Wall Beach. Post-race festivities, kids’ games, and awards follow at the pavilion in McCook Point Park. Bring your family and friends.
Kids ages 2-11 can participate in the Healthy Kids Fun Run in the park before the 5K race. Families have the option for kids to be accompanied by an adult.

Registration and Bib pickup: Saturday, April 27 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at McCook Park, Niantic
Race Day: Registration and bib pick-up at McCook Point Park, Niantic begins at 8:30 AM
8:30 a.m. Registration and Bib Pick-up begin
9:30 a.m. Healthy Kids Fun Run starts
10:00 a.m. Race starts
11:30 a.m. Awards and post-race festivities in the park

5K – Adult $25 ($30 after 4/14)
5K – Student (18 and younger) $20
1K – Healthy Kids Run (12 and younger) $15
Event Moisture wicking shirts are guaranteed to the first 500 registrants, register early!
Due to the fixed width of the Boardwalk, strollers and walkers will follow runners. Pets are not allowed on the Boardwalk.
