New Haven Symphony Orchestra Essex Winter Series

The 46th season of Essex Winter Series begins in 2023 with its first concert on January 22, 2023, featuring the New Haven Symphony Orchestra conducted by Donato Cabrera and with marimba soloist Aya Kaminaguchi. Back by popular demand, the audience will enjoy performance selections by Clyne, Strauss, Séjourné and Dvorák.

Concert begins at 3:00 pm; outer doors open at 2:00 pm; auditorium doors open at 2:30 pm.

This delightful event will be followed by the quite lively Jeff Barnhart and His Hot Jazz Collective on February 26. Gaining press worldwide, Project: Music Heals Us String Trio will be the third concert, on March 12, with pianist Mihae Lee joining this ambassador group of Andre Janss (cello), Stephanie Zyzak (violin), and Brian Hong (violin and viola). The season will close with the Grammy-award winning choral group, Chanticleer, returning to the stage on April 23.
