Join us for a cultural feast on New Haven’s waterfront on June 1st for the New Haven Food Truck Festival and Dragon Boat Regatta
The New Haven Food Truck Festival invites the nearly one million people who live and work in the greater New Haven Metropolitan area to enjoy the savory choices of great New Haven street food, on its historic Long Wharf waterfront. Enjoying the diverse choices of food, guests will be treated to a day’s long music concert featuring both local talent and nationally recognized musicians.
What is a Dragon Boat? Essentially, it’s a 40 foot canoe with 20 paddlers, a drummer to maintain the cadence, and a sweep or steers-person. The paddlers sit side-by-side in rows of two, and work together in unison to propel the boat for recreation, fitness, or competition.
The event is FREE to the public this year!
As the Food Truck Festival is a family friendly event, children of all ages will find plenty of options including live entertainment and kid’s activities, and vendor booths will provide unique shopping opportunities.
