Mystic Seaport Museum Admission Information
An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until October 29, 2025

Mystic Seaport Museum offers an immersive experience of maritime history at its outdoor waterfront campus in Mystic, Connecticut. Visitors can explore a recreated 19th-century seaport village, a working shipyard, multiple exhibition buildings, a planetarium, and seasonal opportunities to get out on the water.
The Museum operates year-round with seasonal schedules. From January 1 to January 5, the full museum is open Thursday through Sunday, with exhibits and ships available from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and grounds closing at 5:00 pm. From January 6 to March 20, only the North Campus and the historic Charles W. Morgan whaleship are open Thursday through Sunday during the same hours; the South Entrance, Seaport Village, and Shipyard are closed for the season.
From March 21 through October 29, the entire museum is open daily. Visitors can access exhibits and ships from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the grounds closing at 6:00 pm. Between October 30 and December 31, the full museum remains open Thursday through Sunday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with grounds closing at 5:00 pm.
In the spring and summer, guests can explore the seaport village, see historic vessels maintained at the Henry B. du Pont Preservation Shipyard, and enjoy water activities including waterfront tours aboard the steamboat Sabino, private sails on the catboat Breck Marshall, or use of rowboats and sailboats from the Boathouse free of charge. Additional seasonal activities such as river cruises, planetarium shows, and toy boat building are available for an extra fee.
Timed tickets are not required. Admission fees vary by season, with reduced pricing in the winter months when only the North Campus is open. Free parking is available at the North Entrance across from the Thompson Exhibition Building (104 Greenmanville Avenue, Mystic, CT) and at the South Entrance across from the red tugboat Kingston II (50 Greenmanville Avenue, Mystic, CT 06355).
