The beloved 1988 romantic comedy comes to the stage when Mystic Pizza arrives at the Palace Theater from October 2 through October 4, 2026. This new musical follows the lives of three young women as they navigate friendship, family, and romance while working at a small-town Connecticut pizza shop.
Based on the iconic film that launched Julia Roberts’ career, the production features a soundtrack packed with popular hits from the 1980s and 1990s, including “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” “Hold On,” and “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.” Filled with humor, heart, and nostalgia, the musical celebrates the enduring appeal of the classic coming-of-age story.
Performances take place on Friday, October 2, from 8 pm to 10:30 pm; Saturday, October 3, at 2 pm to 4:30 pm and 8 pm to 10:30 pm; and Sunday, October 4, from 1 pm to 3:30 pm. All performances include an intermission. The production is recommended for ages 12 and older.
