Music in the Galleries: Another Word for Feeling at Yale Center for British Art
November 11 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Inspired by John Constable’s landscapes, Yale School of Music graduate students will perform music exploring the natural world and the experience of place. The program ranges from Elizabethan songs and English folk traditions to works by Sir Henry Rowland Bishop, John Field, Gustav Holst, Rebecca Clarke, and George Butterworth, tracing connections between music, memory, and landscape. The performance takes place Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 5 pm to 6 pm in Library Court. Admission is free.
Yale Center for British Art is located at 1080 Chapel St., New Haven, CT.
