Milford Makes Small Collage Workshop at Firehouse Gallery

Creativity and community come together on Saturday, March 7 from 11 am to 12 pm as Milford Makes hosts its first pop-up event at the Firehouse Gallery in Milford, CT. Presented in partnership with the Milford Arts Council, the free Small Collage Workshop offers an inviting introduction to creative reuse and mindful making.

Designed for all skill levels, the workshop provides all materials and requires no prior experience. Participants will explore collage as a hands-on art form while learning about the broader vision behind Milford Makes, a community-driven initiative working toward becoming a nonprofit makerspace and creative reuse center in Milford. Space is limited to 30 participants to ensure a relaxed and welcoming creative environment.

This event marks the first in a series of community engagement programs as Milford Makes works toward opening a permanent space dedicated to collecting and redistributing donated art and craft supplies, hosting workshops, and providing a collaborative environment for makers of all ages.
