Midsummer Night’s Gala at Garde Arts Center

Celebrate ten years of creativity and community at Spark Makerspace’s Midsummer Night’s Gala on Saturday, June 28, from 7:00 to 10:00 pm at the Garde Arts Center in New London. Sponsored by In Focus Eye Care, this whimsical evening marks a decade of making, innovation, and artistic collaboration in the heart of New London.

Guests are encouraged to embrace the theme A Midsummer Night’s Dream by donning costumes inspired by Shakespeare’s enchanting world—whether as fairies, flowers, or other magical characters. The night will feature live music and theatrical performances (to be announced), delicious tapas and desserts, and a cash bar operated by the Garde.

The evening includes a Maker & Art Silent Auction showcasing the creative work of Spark’s artists, and an Honoree Recognition Ceremony celebrating individuals who have helped shape and support the local creative community.

Proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction directly support Spark Makerspace’s nonprofit programs, helping to foster innovation and hands-on learning for all skill levels.
