Architecture enthusiasts and design lovers can explore Fairfield and Westport’s modernist legacy during the Midcentury Modern Home Tours of Fairfield on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 1 pm. This one-hour guided bus tour offers a rare look inside several historic homes while showcasing the work of notable architects such as the Harvard Five, Jim Evans, Joseph Salerno, Larry Michaels, and Victor Civkin—who alone designed nearly 50 homes in Fairfield.
From sleek lines to open floor plans and thoughtful integration with nature, this tour celebrates the aesthetics and innovation that defined midcentury modern design. Participants will experience both interior and exterior views of featured homes, while gaining historical context about the architects and the era’s cultural impact.
This one-time-only event is space-limited. The tour will begin in the Westport/Fairfield area; location details will be provided upon registration.
