Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Schemitzun

The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation welcomes everyone to Schemitzun, August 25 & 26 2018. Schemitzun, the Feast of Green Corn and Dance; gives honor to Mantoo (Creator) provider of all things and celebrating our harvest, ancestors, elders, veterans, family and Native American heritage.
Schemitzun takes place on the Mashantucket cultural grounds. Shuttle service is available from the Pequot Museum parking lot to the cultural grounds. No parking is allowed next to the cultural grounds, so please take the shuttle.
Schemitzun is open to the public and is a drug and alcohol-free event. Wheelchair accessible. Held rain or shine.
