Two powerhouse singer-songwriters come together for an unforgettable evening of music when Mary Chapin Carpenter and Brandy Clark perform at Ridgefield Playhouse on August 13, 2025, at 7:00 pm.

Mary Chapin Carpenter is a celebrated figure in American music, with over 16 million records sold and a career spanning decades. Known for hits like “Passionate Kisses” and “He Thinks He’ll Keep Her,” Carpenter has earned five Grammy Awards, two CMA Awards, and two ACM Awards. She is also one of the few women inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. Her album One Night Lonely earned a Grammy nomination for Best Folk Album in 2023, and she was recently honored with the Poet’s Award at the ACM Honors for her outstanding contributions to the genre.

Brandy Clark is equally acclaimed, with numerous accolades including GRAMMY, CMA, and Americana Awards. In 2023, she won Best Americana Performance at the GRAMMYs, followed by Song of the Year at the 2024 Americana Honors for her heartfelt track “Dear Insecurity,” a collaboration with Brandi Carlile.
