Marine Life Encounter Cruise at The Maritime Aquarium

The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk will offer its Marine Life Encounter Cruise daily from Wednesday, June 25 through Sunday, June 29, with each cruise departing at 1 pm. This 2.5-hour educational adventure gives participants an up-close look at the diverse marine life of Long Island Sound, from the water’s surface to the sea floor.

Using scientific sampling techniques such as a plankton tow, the cruise brings marine creatures on board—often including fish, crabs, mollusks, and other species—providing a hands-on opportunity to observe and learn about the region’s underwater ecosystem and its complex interdependence.

All passengers must be over 42 inches tall, and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The cruise departs from the Maritime Aquarium, located at 10 North Water Street, Norwalk, Connecticut. For tickets and additional details, visit maritimeaquarium.org.
