March Skygazing at Talcott Mountain Science Center
March 29, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Why is March coming in like a lion and going out like a lamb? Hint: it has nothing to do with the weather! Find out with an evening of fun for the whole family! Join TMSC staff as we bid farewell to the winter sky & welcome the spring equinox from the top of Talcott Mountain.
Learn all about the night sky under the 44ft dome of our Captain Alan M. Bean planetarium. Afterwards, with the moon in its’ last quarter, we’ll head outdoors under dark skies to enjoy the splendor of the red planet and other celestial gems atop Talcott Mountain. With a wide array of telescopes at our disposal, we will be searching for stars and planets, including Mars, the Pleiades star cluster and more!
$8 General Admission/$5 TMSC Members
Because seating is limited and events fill up quickly, we recommend making your reservations early!
*PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME! Late arrivals will not be allowed to enter the planetarium after the presentation begins at 7:10pm; they will, however, be able to participate in outdoor viewing with the group when the planetarium program concludes.
