One of Broadway’s most beloved musicals returns to Hartford when Mamma Mia! takes the stage at The Bushnell’s Mortensen Hall from October 20–25, 2026, as part of the 2026–2027 Broadway Season.
Set on a picturesque Greek island, Mamma Mia! tells the heartwarming and hilarious story of a young woman determined to discover the identity of her father before her wedding day. Her search reunites three men from her mother’s past, leading to unexpected revelations, laughter, and unforgettable moments. The story unfolds through the timeless music of ABBA, featuring beloved hits that have delighted audiences around the world for more than 25 years.
Filled with themes of love, friendship, family, and self-discovery, Mamma Mia! has become a global phenomenon and remains one of the most popular feel-good musicals ever produced.
Performances will take place at Mortensen Hall, The Bushnell, 166 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, CT 06106. Evening performances are scheduled for October 20 through October 24 at 7:30 pm. Additional performances will be held on October 24 at 2 pm and October 25 at 1 pm and 6:30 pm.
