Lyman Orchards Sunflower Maze

August 21, 2018 @ 5:00 am - 1:00 pm

|Recurring Events (See all)

An event every day that begins at 5:00 am, repeating until August 26, 2018

The 2918 Lyman Orchards Sunflower Maze partners with Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo.  The Maze is open daily from 9am to 5pm beginning July 28th and runs through August 26th.

$1 of each admission to the Lyman Orchards Sunflower Maze is donated to the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Pediatric Cancer Unit. Over the past decade years, you’ve helped us donate $93,527 to CT Children’s.

This year’s Sunflower Maze celebrates two new Amur tiger cubs, Reka and Zeya, which were born this past autumn at Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo. Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo has a proud history of over 90 years as Connecticut’s only Zoo. It is committed to the preservation of endangered animals and are actively developing strategies that will protect species and preserve their wild habitats.
It’s a wonderfully wild experience for children and adults alike. More than 350,000 red and yellow sunflowers surround you in a 360-degree environment. Get lost in this 2.5-acre maze as yellow finches and beautiful butterflies fly around.

Admission: $10 adults; $5 for ages 4-12; Free for Children 3 and under. Group pricing is available
