Lyman Allyn’s annual Summer Fest

Come celebrate the start of summer at Lyman Allyn’s annual Summer Fest in New London, Connecticut on June 23rd. Summer Fest is FREE for everyone and will feature food trucks, live entertainment (amplified, unplugged, performance and participatory), and family friendly activities on our grounds and inside the Museum. The entire Museum will be open during this event, so you can explore all of our exhibits. This is a perfect event to spend with friends and family

In the event of rain, everything but the food trucks will move indoors to the Museums galleries, auditorium, and art/dance studio.

Featuring: Food trucks  live entertainment  family activities  art projects  face painting & balloon creations by TeachArt2Me  the incredible “Don’t Burst My Bubble” program from the Children’s Museum of Southeastern CT  animals from the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center  live birds of prey from “A Place Called Hope”  henna art by Hennavana  and much more!

Performers include: The Rivergods  Ron Murray  Christine Cooney  Ramblin’ Dan Stevens Writer’s Block Ink │ TigerEye Dance Team and more!

Bring a blanket and explore the grounds of the Lyman Allyn, including the McCourt 9/11 Memorial Garden and our outdoor sculpture trail. Summer Fest volunteers will be on hand for brief tours of our current exhibitions.
