Low Strung: Yale’s Rock-Cello Rebels at 1741 Pub & Grill

The 1741 Pub & Grill will host Low Strung: Yale’s Rock-Cello Rebels on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 6 pm to 8 pm. This unique cello ensemble from Yale University transforms rock and pop classics into unforgettable string performances, blending classical training with high-energy showmanship. Their set features hits from artists such as Queen, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, and Avril Lavigne, reimagined in a style that is both powerful and innovative.

The concert will take place under the Golf Tent at 1741 Pub & Grill, located at Lyman Orchards Golf Course. Dinner and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Tickets are $25 per person and must be purchased in advance at Low Strung Tickets. Guests will be seated outdoors under the tent, with tables of eight.
