The Fairfield University Art Museum presents a livestream lecture, Sculpting the Past: Art, Identity, and Commemoration in Public Space, with Kelley Di Dio, PhD. This thought-provoking talk examines how sculpture in public spaces serves as a reflection of cultural identity and collective memory. Dr. Di Dio will discuss the evolving role of monuments and public art in shaping historical narratives and prompting dialogue about heritage, power, and representation.
