The LGBTQ+ Book Club will discuss Sabrina Imbler’s How Far the Light Reaches: A Life in Ten Sea Creatures on Saturday, August 15, from 2 to 3 pm at Rainy Day Paperback Exchange in Bethel.
Imbler’s collection of essays explores themes of adaptation, survival, sexuality, and care while connecting the wonders of marine biology with stories of family, relationships, and coming of age. The book offers a unique perspective on the natural world and the experiences that shape our understanding of identity and connection.
Parking and bathrooms are available nearby. The shop does not have ramp access and has a small set of steps at the entrance.
