LCT Fall Youth Program at Thomaston Opera House

Young performers ages 8 through 14 can build their acting skills, confidence and creativity through Landmark Community Theatre’s Fall Youth Program, beginning Saturday, September 19, 2026. Classes meet weekly on Saturdays from 9 am to 12 pm and culminate in a live performance of Night at the Wax Museum by Craig Sodaro on Saturday, December 12 at 2 pm.

Throughout the program, students will learn basic acting techniques and performance skills before applying what they learn to rehearsals for a full theatrical production. Experienced instructors CJ Calzone and Kelley Hutton will guide participants through the acting and rehearsal process.

Classes are held weekly beginning September 19. During the week leading up to the December 12 performance, Saturday’s rehearsal will be extended and additional evening rehearsals will be scheduled to help students prepare for the production.

Participants must be able to read and are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors and fellow students. Any misconduct will be reviewed by the Director of Education and may result in removal from the program. Attendance at the final performance is mandatory, and any known absences must be reported by the first day of class.

Registration is $200 per student and includes two complimentary admissions to the December 12 performance. The program takes place at Landmark Community Theatre at the Historic Thomaston Opera House, 158 Main Street, Thomaston, Connecticut.
