LaMP ft. Russ Lawton, Scott Metzger & Ray Paczkowski at Levitt Pavilion

LaMP brings its dynamic blend of improvisational rock, funk, jazz, and groove-driven musicianship to Levitt Pavilion on July 24, 2026, for a free outdoor concert featuring three celebrated performers from the jam-band world.
The trio was formed in 2018 following an unforgettable performance at Nectar’s in Burlington, Vermont, where drummer Russ Lawton, guitarist Scott Metzger, and keyboardist Ray Paczkowski discovered an immediate musical chemistry. The project takes its name from the first letters of each musician’s surname and has since developed a devoted following through its energetic live performances and distinctive sound.
Lawton and Paczkowski share a long musical history through their work with the Trey Anastasio Band and their duo project Soule Monde, while Metzger is widely recognized as a member of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead. Together, the three musicians create a sound built on intricate interplay, soulful grooves, adventurous improvisation, and exceptional technical skill.
Following the release of their self-titled debut EP, recorded at Sugarhouse Soundworks in Vermont, LaMP has steadily expanded its audience through performances across the East Coast. Their music showcases Paczkowski’s expressive organ and clavinet work, Metzger’s versatile guitar playing, and Lawton’s steady, powerful rhythms, creating performances that are both deeply musical and highly engaging.
The concert begins at 7:30 pm on Friday, July 24, 2026, with doors opening at 6:30 pm. The performance takes place at Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts, 40 Jesup Road, Westport, CT 06880.
Admission is free, but tickets are recommended. Free tickets may be reserved online in advance and may also be available through the Levitt Pavilion box office beginning two hours before showtime, subject to availability. Season members receive priority access to a limited reserve of tickets when public allocations have been exhausted.
