Experience the magic of maple sugaring season at Lamothe’s Sugar House, Connecticut’s largest maple sugar house. This family-owned operation boasts 5,500 taps and 26 miles of tubing to collect sap. Guests can learn about the history and process of maple syrup production while watching it being made. After the tour, visit the country store for maple syrup, sugar, jams, honey, and more. Don’t forget to stop by and see the rabbits!
Tours run Saturdays and Sundays from February 15 through March 30 at 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm. Each tour lasts approximately 30 minutes. Admission details are available on the website.
