La Noce d’Alfonse at Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts

Cirque Alfonse brings La Noce d’Alfonse (Alfonse’s Wedding) to the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts on Sunday, September 27, at 4 pm. This lively circus-cabaret production combines acrobatics, live music, caustic humor, and audience interaction in a celebration inspired by a vintage 1970s wedding.

The performance unfolds through a series of acrobatic, love-infused tableaux honoring the union of one lucky couple selected from the audience. With unexpected twists, festive poetry, and plenty of crowd interaction, the production embraces the irreverent and daring spirit associated with Cirque Alfonse.

Caribbean influences and Québécois folk traditions shape the live music, creating the atmosphere of a grand, delightfully kitschy wedding celebration. The result is a performance that balances tenderness and humor with the physical energy of circus arts.

La Noce d’Alfonse will be presented at the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. Additional information about the performance is available at the Quick Center for the Arts event page.
