Kid’s Cookie & Cupcake Decorating Workshop During Winter Break at Lyman Orchards

A sweet and creative winter break activity awaits young bakers at this hands-on decorating workshop at Lyman Orchards. Children can decorate freshly baked cupcakes and cookies using colorful frosting, sprinkles, and candies, creating treats that are as fun to make as they are to eat. The workshop offers an engaging way to keep kids entertained during school vacation, with a kid-friendly lunch menu available at the Apple Barrel before or after the session.

The workshop takes place on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 10 am to 10:30 am at Lyman Orchards, 32 Reeds Gap Road, Middlefield, CT. Tickets are $20 per person, and space is limited to 15 participants per session. Due to limited space in the bakery, only one adult may accompany a child age 7 and under at no additional cost. Advance registration is recommended, as workshops often sell out. Please note that tickets are nonrefundable.
