Kid’s Art Workshop: TetraPak Printmaking – Second Session at the Mattatuck Museum

Young artists have another opportunity to explore creative printmaking during the Kid’s Art Workshop: TetraPak Printmaking – Second Session on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 1 pm to 2 pm at the Mattatuck Museum.
This free, hands-on workshop introduces children to intaglio printmaking using recycled TetraPak materials and water-based inks. Participants will create their own self-portraits while experimenting with texture, line, and printmaking techniques inspired by the exhibition About Face: 250 Years of American Portrait Art.
Designed to encourage creativity and sustainable art practices, the workshop offers a fun and engaging experience for young artists. Parent or guardian supervision is required throughout the session.
This free program is sponsored by Art Bridges.
The Mattatuck Museum is located at 144 West Main Street, Waterbury, CT 06702. For more information, visit https://www.mattmuseum.org/calendar/tetrapak-printmaking-second-session/.
