JP Justice, also known as Jimique Straker, brings more than three decades of comedy experience to the stage in a career that spans clubs, theaters, international tours, and U.S.O. shows for American troops. Born and raised in Harlem, his sharp wit and honest storytelling have earned him performances alongside icons such as Tracy Morgan, JB Smoove, Steve Harvey, Chris Rock, D.L. Hughley, Bernie Mac, and Paul Mooney. His television credits include HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, FOX’s Uptown Comedy Club, and NBC’s Showtime at the Apollo, and he has hosted legendary stages like Caroline’s on Broadway, Dangerfield’s, and Amateur Night at the Apollo.

In addition to his stand-up work, JP is the author of SET: Breaking Down the Elements of Urban Stand-Up Comedy, a behind-the-scenes guide for aspiring comics that reached #9 on Amazon’s Best Sellers list.
