Jazz: Daniel Bennett Group at Palace Theater

New York saxophonist Daniel Bennett brings his distinctive blend of jazz, folk and minimalism to the Poli Club at Palace Theater on Friday, October 23, 2026, with performances at 7 pm and 9 pm. The Daniel Bennett Group is celebrating the release of its 10th studio album, Mr. Bennett’s Mind.

Hailed as one of the most original and unpredictable musical voices of his generation, Bennett has earned attention from publications including The New York Times, Baltimore Sun, Miami Herald, Boston Globe and NPR. Time Out New York has described the group’s music as “hypnotic,” while the UK Jazz Journal has called Bennett “an outspoken voice of hope.” The group was also recently voted Best New Jazz by Hot House Magazine.

The Daniel Bennett Group regularly performs at renowned venues including the Blue Note in New York City, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London and Zingari Jazz in San Francisco. Bennett is joined by master percussionist Koko Bermejo on drums and keyboard, with acclaimed electric bassist Jeff Dingler completing the trio.
