Intermediate Art Workshop: Photography, Cityscapes, and Dreams at Mattatuck Museum

Teens can explore photography and painting in a creative workshop at the Mattatuck Museum on Saturday, November 7, from 2 to 3:30 pm. Participants will take cityscape photographs and use paint to transform their images into dreamlike landscapes, experimenting with blur, movement, light, shadow, and layering.
Through this hands-on activity, teens will reimagine familiar urban scenes and explore how artistic techniques can change the way a landscape looks and feels, creating work that reflects their individual perspectives and imaginations.
Admission is $15 for nonmembers, $10 for members, and free for Kids Adventure Pass holders and students from Waterbury and Watertown.
