Intermediate Art Workshop: America in Pop Art at the Mattatuck Museum

Teens are invited to explore the bold world of Pop Art during the Intermediate Art Workshop: America in Pop Art on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 4 pm at the Mattatuck Museum.

Designed for ages 12 to 18, this hands-on workshop examines American pop culture through the colorful and expressive techniques popularized by artist Andy Warhol. Participants will experiment with Pop Art-inspired styles while creating their own original artwork and learning about one of America’s most influential art movements.

Admission is $15 for non-members, $10 for Museum members, free for Adventure Passholders, and free for Waterbury Public Schools students.

The workshop is supported by the American Savings Foundation and Post University.
