Inheriting Freedom: An Intergenerational Tour explores the lives and legacies of Frederick Douglass and Harriet Beecher Stowe, tracing their journeys from childhood to becoming influential voices in the fight against slavery. The tour highlights the role of family, education, and resilience in shaping their paths, while also examining the connections between their work and the broader abolitionist movement.
Designed to be engaging and age-appropriate, the experience includes hands-on interaction with historical objects and documents, along with guided conversation that encourages participants to reflect on how individuals can create change in their own communities.
