Indie Lens Pop-Up Film Screening 5 at Shubert Theatre

The Shubert Theatre in New Haven will host the fifth installment of the Indie Lens Pop-Up film screening series on May 14, 2025. This free community event includes a film screening, complimentary pizza, and a post-film discussion.

This installment features a powerful documentary that follows three families whose lives are transformed by Alzheimer’s disease as they navigate the challenges of caregiving. The screening is part of the Indie Lens Pop-Up series, which brings communities together to view and discuss thought-provoking documentaries before their television premieres on INDEPENDENT LENS, PBS’s acclaimed documentary anthology.

The event is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged but not required, and seating is first come, first served. Complimentary pizza will be served before the screening, and a conversation will follow the film.
