HSO then presents Bartók’s gripping Suite from The Miraculous Mandarin\, performed by the orchestra for the first time in more than 20 years. \nThe program continues with American innovation\, featuring Wynton Marsalis’ jazz-inspired Concerto for Tubist and Orchestra with HSO principal tuba Jarrod Briley as soloist.
