Homeschool Day: Family Photo Collage Inspired by Norman Rockwell at New Britain Museum of American Art

The New Britain Museum of American Art welcomes families for a special Homeschool Day on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 10 am to 1 pm. Inspired by the exhibition From Camera to Canvas: Norman Rockwell, this engaging program invites homeschool students and their families to create personalized collaged scrapbook albums inspired by photography and Rockwell’s artistic style.

Throughout the morning, families can take part in hands-on artmaking, guided gallery activities, and a photo booth station. Docent-led tours will be offered from 11 am to 12 pm, and a story time with the New Britain Library will be held later in the session. Participants are encouraged to bring their own photos for the collage activity.

The event takes place at the New Britain Museum of American Art, located at 56 Lexington Street, New Britain, Connecticut. One free adult admission is included with each student ticket purchase.
