Homeschool Day at Connecticut Trolley Museum

Homeschool families are invited to a special day of hands-on learning and fun at the Connecticut Trolley Museum on Thursday, May 22, 2025, starting at 10:00 am. This event is designed for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

The entire museum will be open exclusively for homeschoolers, offering a variety of engaging educational activities. Students can take part in a docent-led tour that delves into the history of the trolley era, explore the Visitor Center with a scavenger hunt, create their own Junior Motorman hat, and dress up as a motorman in the Imagination Center. Visitors can also enjoy rides on antique streetcars and explore historic fire trucks at the Connecticut Fire Truck Museum, which is included with admission.

Bagged lunches are recommended, and all activities take place rain or shine.
