Holiday Open House at The Bushnell Hartford

The Bushnell opens its doors for a joyful and inclusive celebration during the Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm. This annual Sensory-Friendly/Relaxed event welcomes families and friends for a morning of festive fun, featuring seasonal crafts, a screening of Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas, and a special visit from Santa.

Designed to be accessible and welcoming for individuals on the autism spectrum or with sensory sensitivities, the event includes thoughtful accommodations such as lower sound levels, dim but consistent lighting, and a relaxed environment where guests are free to move, talk, or take breaks as needed.
