It’s a holiday staple at Milford Photo: the Holiday Light photowalk to the Milford Green. For over 20 years our intrepid band of photo enthusiasts has set out to record some picturesque frames of the festive lights arranged on the green. This informal gathering is a great opportunity to test out some particular skills with friends and photo peers.
We start at Milford Photo at 7pm for a quick review of settings. I suggest that you have a camera that you can set manually or at least has exposure compensation control. You’ll NEED A TRIPOD to make the long exposures during the shooting session. No flashes tonight!
From the store we walk to the green and make frames. YOU NEED A TRIPOD. A flash light is helpful too and dress for the evening. Did I mention YOU NEED A TRIPOD! I’ve listed some other useful gadgets below…
This meetup is free to Milford Camera Club members (join here) and will be held weather permitting. Please RSVP to the positive so we know how many people to expect and how many helpers to bring.
Other useful gadgets: Remote controls, star filters, lens hoods, hand warmers, lens pens, photo gloves, hoodloupe, extra battery.
