Holiday Lantern Tours at Phelps-Hatheway House & Garden

Experience the charm of Suffield’s South Main Street as it transforms into a festive holiday wonderland. On December 14 and 15, 2024, costumed guides will lead Holiday Lantern Tours, showcasing the beautifully lit historic homes along this picturesque thoroughfare.
The tour begins promptly at 4 pm, starting at the King House and ending at the Phelps-Hatheway House. Guests will be transported back in time to a pre-electricity era, where candlelight and local traditions illuminated the season. This one-mile journey is suitable for all ages, with a focus on warmth, sparkle, and community spirit, making it ideal for families and young children.
Before the lantern walk, visitors are encouraged to attend the Suffield Historical Society’s Holiday Fest from 1–4 pm for additional festivities.
