Experience an inspiring and entertaining journey through history with HERO: The Boy from Troy, part of The Bushnell’s 2024-2025 Children’s Theatre Series. This musical performance is ideal for students in grades 3-6 and includes a brief Q&A session immediately following the show.
The story follows Jayden, a student stuck in detention, who discovers a book that takes him on a transformative walk through the decades. He learns about the life of young John Lewis, his encounters with Rosa Parks and Dr. King, and his rise to become a leader and American hero. Through Jayden’s journey, audiences will explore themes of equality, justice, and the power of taking a stand.
