Harvest Tribute Festival Honors Chef Jacques Pépin at Stone Acres Farm in North Stonington

The Harvest Tribute Fundraising Festival honoring legendary Chef Jacques Pépin and his lifetime commitment to the culinary arts will be held on Sunday October 13th at Stone Acres Farm in North Stonington, Connecticut.

Proceeds from the events of the day – starting with a family friendly harvest celebration from 1-5PM, followed by a cocktail reception and statue unveiling at 5PM, finished with an intimate dinner at 7PM – will benefit the Jacques Pépin Legacy Fund and the nearby Yellow Farmhouse Education Center.

Harvest Tribute Festival Honors Chef Jacques Pépin at Stone Acres Farm in Stonington

This spectacular day will begin with a family-friendly Harvest Festival, where guests will enjoy farm-inspired activities, crafts, plus Pétanque – the national pastime game of the French –  live-cooking demonstrations, an Artisan Market featuring local food artisans and craftspeople, delicious food from the 85th Day Food Community (Engine Room, Grass & Bone, Oyster Club), and live music from the Pat McGee Band. At 5pm, guests will be invited to gather for a Champagne toast and the unveiling of the statue. $50/adult (includes $10 of lunch tickets). Children under 12 can attend for free. 

After the unveiling, there will be a Cocktail Reception in the stunning formal gardens at Stone Acres. Guests will sip seasonal cocktails amongst the blooms and snack on farm-inspired hors-d’oeuvres by Chef James Wayman and his team. Real McCoy Rum will be offering a specialty cocktail and rum tasting. Cocktail guests will receive a copy of The Apprentice: My Life in the Kitchen by Jacques Pépin. In addition, Pat McGee will play an acoustic set. $250/person (includes admission to Harvest Festival and Statue Reveal)

In the evening, there will be an intimate five-course dinner with Jacques Pépin in the Manor House at Stone Acres. Chef James Wayman of the Oyster Club restaurant in Mystic will prepare a seasonally-inspired tasting menu celebrating Connecticut’s finest farmers and purveyors paired with exclusive wines. The evening will also include a silent auction and an online auction of Pépin signature items, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. $1,000/person (includes admission to the daytime Harvest Festival, Statue Reveal, and Cocktail Reception)

Legendary Chef Jacques Pépin will be honored with a bronze statue designed by world-renowned sculptor Zenos Frudakis and installed at Stone Acres Farm in Stonington, Connecticut.

Please join Jacques Pépin and family for a celebration of local seasonal fare to commemorate Jacques’ culinary contributions to the community.

All proceeds raised at the event go directly towards the Yellow Farmhouse Education Center and the Jacques Pépin Legacy Fund, both of which are 501(c) 3 non-profit organizations.
