Happy Anniversary! Centenary Celebrations & Beyond at Fairfield Museum & History Center

Explore how people have marked important moments in history, from the nation’s Centennial in 1876 and Bicentennial in 1976 to town and state anniversaries. Photographs, quilts, costumes, flags, and other objects reveal how Fairfielders have commemorated the past through traditions such as parades, quilting bees, and reenactments. The exhibition is on view June 13 through November 8, 2026.
