Center Stage Theatre in Shelton opens its 20th anniversary season with Guys and Dolls, running from February 15 through March 2, 2025.
Set in the vibrant world of Damon Runyon’s mythical New York City, this classic musical comedy follows gambler Nathan Detroit as he scrambles to fund the biggest craps game in town—all while evading the authorities and his long-suffering fiancée, Adelaide, who has been waiting 14 years for a wedding. Meanwhile, fellow gambler Sky Masterson takes a bet that sends him chasing after straight-laced missionary Sarah Brown. From the streets of Times Square to the lively cafes of Havana, Guys and Dolls delivers unforgettable music, high-energy dance, and a heartwarming story about finding love in unexpected places.
Center Stage Theatre has been a cornerstone of the Connecticut arts community for two decades, producing high-quality, affordable performances and educational programs for all ages. Named “Best Community Theater” by Connecticut Magazine’s Best of CT 2022, the theatre continues to be a cultural hub for actors and audiences across Fairfield and New Haven counties.
