Gipsy Kings Featuring Nicolas Reyes at Garde Arts Center

Nicolas Reyes, co-founder and leader of the Gipsy Kings for more than 30 years, brings the internationally celebrated group to New London for an evening of world music and flamenco fusion. With over 14 million albums sold worldwide, the Gipsy Kings have dominated the World Music charts for decades. Their Grammy-winning album Savor Flamenco (2013) and their platinum-selling The Best of the Gipsy Kings compilation cemented their legacy as global icons.

The band’s music has become part of popular culture, with their rendition of “Hotel California” featured in The Big Lebowski and Entourage, and their version of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” included in Toy Story 3. They have performed on some of the world’s greatest stages, including the Hollywood Bowl and Royal Albert Hall, while continuing to inspire audiences with their vibrant sound and rich cultural heritage.
