Salt Marsh Presents brings Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi to the stage in a vibrant, family-friendly production designed to delight audiences of all ages. As part of the Kids Love Music! series, this lively one-hour opera introduces young viewers to the joy of opera through humor, engaging music, and an unforgettable story.
Tailored especially for school groups, this educational experience includes a study guide and an optional in-classroom visit to help students connect with the opera’s plot and characters before attending the live performance. After the show, students will have the opportunity to participate in a dynamic Q&A session with the performers and Artistic Director, offering a deeper look into the world of opera.
Salt Marsh Presents is currently accepting applications from schools in Connecticut and Rhode Island for this enriching cultural opportunity. The performance takes place at 10:00 am on May 12, 2025, at the Garde Arts Center, 325 State Street, New London, CT 06320.
