Ghost Tours of The Mark Twain House at The Mark Twain House & Museum

An evening of haunted history and Victorian-era mysteries awaits during Ghost Tours of The Mark Twain House on June 27, 2026, from 6 pm to 9 pm. This special after-hours experience explores the darker side of one of Hartford’s most famous historic homes, blending local legends, supernatural folklore, and the fascinating history of the Twain family.

Guests will tour the house while learning about Victorian traditions surrounding séances, spirits, and communication with the dead. The program also examines Mark Twain’s own interest in the supernatural and highlights paranormal investigations conducted at the property.
