Garden Watercolor Journaling: Tree Studies at Hollister House Garden

Explore the art of botanical illustration in a hands-on watercolor journaling workshop at Hollister House Garden on Friday, April 18, from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. Led by award-winning botanical artist Betsy Rogers-Knox, this workshop will focus on tree studies, with participants learning to observe and sketch tree trunks, bark, branches, and buds before returning to the barn for step-by-step watercolor instruction.
All skill levels are welcome, and beginners are especially encouraged to attend. Participants should bring a bag lunch; water and snacks will be provided.
Required materials include a journal and pen ($30), which should be purchased during registration unless previously acquired at a Hollister House journaling class.
Admission is $90 for Hollister House Garden members and $120 for non-members. The workshop will be held at Hollister House Garden, 300 Nettleton Hollow Road, Washington, CT 06793. For more information, contact office@hollisterhousegarden.org.
